Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the bloodstream. It is considered a "conditionally essential amino acid" because it can be manufactured in the body. However under extreme physical stress such as injuries, infections, burns, trauma, or surgical procedures, the demand for glutamine exceeds the body's ability to synthesize it.

Health Wise® Amino Powders are pure pharmaceutical grade powders and are packed by weight not volume, without the use of fillers or flowing agents. Some of the powders are slightly hygroscopic (retain moisture) and this can result in clumping. This can be broken apart with a spoon before taking or dissolved in water.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

Glutamine should be taken with cold or room temperature foods or liquids. It should not be added to hot beverages because heat destroys glutamine. Average serving would be ¼ to ½ teaspoon added to food or liquid.
